Shoveling and Snow Fun

So this picture is from about a week ago. I got up that morning thinking I would just go and do all my errands, but then it just kept snowing and snowing. So, I decided to just stay home and enjoy the snow from the inside...but eventually we did have to go out and shovel the 11 or 12 inches that we received that morning. I really have been enjoying the snow this year...something that is not easy for me.

Masters of Science in Psychology Graduation

Congrats to Brett for completing his masters! He will continue to work towards his Ed. S. for those confused people. We had a really fun time. Brett's parents came up and stayed with us and unfortunately had to drive home in a crazy snowstorm. We appreciated seeing them and Jace loved bonding with them too. Afterward we just had a really nice dinner and dessert here at our house...it was so nice to not have to fight the crowds and the noise...especially since we never get to see his parents. All in all the stress of school is NOT over and life could change in an instant...but we will continue to plug along at this school thing and do the best that we can. But at least we have made it through the Masters!!!!

The best part about the whole thing was that it took less than an hour...and for those of you who remeber his bachelors....that is a big improvement.

First Snow Storm of Winter!

The first very light snow storm this winter happened....Finally! It totally makes it feel alot more like christmas. Brett had to head to school, so Jace and I went out and shoveled the driveway. Jace was really excited that there was snow and he love the "snowpants". This being my fourth winter in Logan...I am actually loving the snow. Really I just like to get out and shovel...cause it is such a work out! Happy snowing!

Life in General

Since I haven't posted for awhile, I will give a quick update of what has been happening.
Thankgiving was wonderful. Jace didn't get to experience much of it, but still had fun anyway. We sat down to eat and about 5 minutes later he decided it was nap time...man that turkey worked fast. Jace asks everyday if we can go to the airport...so we can go see grandma and papa again. He definitely doesn't understand the distance or the time involved. We sure do wish we were closer.
I had a second security check at the airport. Silly me forgot to take out a bottle of water. I am so not good at this security thing. I guess I just have the attitude that I don't have anything to hide so search me all you want. It was funny!
Jace was holding onto a cold for about 9 days and so we decided to finally take him to the doctor...and whammee a double ear infection. I told Jace that the next time he has an ear infection to pull on his ears or act more cranky...at least then I would know it was more serious and wouldn't have to wait the week to 10 days before the "cold" is over and the doctor will actually do something.
Brett is almost done with this semester...aka...really busy. There is about a week and a half left. He has so much on his plate, but still is a wonderful father and husband through it all. He will be graduating with his MS on the 12th. I am so proud of him. He gets to be hooded this time!
We put up our christmas tree and decorations and it was just so festive. It really has put me in the mood. I can't wait for christmas morning when we get to surprise Jace with gifts. This is as much fun as when I was a child.
The busy month begins, but I love it!!!!

More random thoughts, but on a lighter note!

So, I thought I would just post some random thoughts.

First, I can't wait for Thanksgiving....oh how I love stuffing, the company, and a vacation away from this crazy thing called "putting your husband through a graduate program". Although, Brett will probably have to work on homework while we are there.

Second, I am kind of sad that we won't be seeing both sides of the family for thanksgiving...but hopefully, the Eggetts will be coming to see us in December because Brett will be receiving his MS degree, but will still continue to get his Ed S degree.

Third, I can't wait to see Twilight the movie...yes, I know I probably could have seen it already, but I wanted to go see it with my Mom and sisters...hence, I will wait a few more days.

Fourth, I still have a serious passion for cleaning teeth...I LOVE what I do and it is so great that I don't have to work full time!

Fifth, I can't get enough of the conference edition of the Ensign...Oh so good, especially with the changes going on in the world and the trials I am called to bear at this time.

Sixth, I was so thankful for the week vacation to my parents house. I loved every minute I was able to spend with my grandma, and the rekindling time with Jennifer, the bond that Jace built with everyone, seeing my Mom's amazing recovery from her knee surgery, spending time with my Dad, and of course the unlimited feeding of my crazy drive to play games all the time.

Seventh, before driving home from Salt Lake, I was able to catch up with a bunch of friends from high school and also another friend from Hygiene school. It was so great to see those people, and it felt like 3-7 years really had not passed. Friends can be angels in ways they don't even know they are.

I guess that is enough from my crazy little mind...Hope everyone has a safe Thanksgiving and really contemplates what they are thankful for...I am sure I will be posting those things that top my thankfulness list!

Jenson Family Pictures

As most of you know my Mom had her knee replaced and all of us sisters went to help take care of her for a week. While we were there, we updated our pictures.

Above --- all 7 of us...

Above --- Jamee, Jereelyn, Jennifer, Joy, and Judee

Above --- Jennifer, Joy, Jamee, Jereelyn, and Judee

Grandparents and the grandkids...all 3 (Daniel, Aubree, and Jace), except the one on the way (Joy is due in January with a little boy).

Willow Beach Fish Hatchery

While I was visiting the family in Henderson, we decided to take a field trip with the kids to the fish hatchery. Jereelyn brought Tony and Triny, I brought Jace, and Judee brought Daniel and Aubree. After the long drive...about an hour we arrived and the kids loved seeing all the fish. It was fun, but made for a long morning!

My airport security experience!

Yesterday, Jace, my great grandma (GG), and I went to the airport to fly home to Henderson to see the family. Everything was going great and just as I was thinking we were free and clear to go to the gate, one of the TSA officers said "who's bag is this?" Of course it was mine....I was thinking I have nothing in there that could be of a security risk. She asked me if she could search my bag and I said "yes, of course". I have nothing to hide. She mentioned in passing that they thought there was ammunition in my bag. For a moment, I thought she was crazy, but then it dawned on me that I have a bullet key chain on my key ring. Now jumping back in the last year...I have flown at least 4 times and this was never questioned. Well, it was yesterday...and I totally felt like a criminal/terrorist. She removed the bullet from my key ring and then said "For obvious reasons we are going to have to confiscate this". I felt so dumb for not even thinking about it, but I do have to give myself credit....those of you who have taken a child with you on the plane....there is so much to pack and worry about, the least of my worries was a bullet on my key ring. I am thankful for their security and their efforts to try and protect us and keep us safe, but seriously, I was so embarrassed and now I will have to find me a new bullet key chain (not to hard to do, really). I just thought I would share this hilarious embarrassing moment...Enjoy!

North Logan Annual Pumpkin Walk

First a new family picture...and yes, that is my new color! Then another cute pumpkin picture with Jace.

They always have these painted wood cutouts for you to put your face in....this is the cutest Yoda you will see this year....and probably one of Brett's favorite heros!

Here are a few scenes that they had this year. Jace liked the tractor. I thought Noah's ark and the hospital room are pretty funny and creative. The last picture is pigeons made out of gords...that one is for you Grandpa Pigeon - we love you!

In response to my meltdown :)

Well....I really thank everyone for their comments and support. I was gently reminded by my mother in law that we have to do things for ourselves. She was so right I was so caught up in the puddle of day to day things, that I had forgot to do the things I enjoy. Since then, I did make a visit to the library, read 3 books, started a 4th, bought some fabric to sew with, went and had my hair done (one of my favorite things) and made plans to go home and see grandma and grandpa pigeon. (A little background on the pigeon name...my dad races pigeons and Jace associates both my parents with this name, of course grandma just goes along with it. On the other hand, Brett's parents are grandma and grandpa pudge...because of their yellow lab) Again, I am okay and really appreciate everyone's prayers and support and love. I am fresh and ready to face the world again!

So most of my posts are happy, go-lucky...usually something new to report, but this one I just have to get a few things off my chest...confessions if you will. The change of season from wonderful warm summer to a bit chilly for flip flops/don't go anywhere without a jacket...really gets to me. I feel like I have to try harder to fight some of those things that inevitably just bother me. I think I will start a list and hope that this helps...
1. I have to try harder at being a better parent because Jace is constantly asking two questions...if he can go outside and...where daddy is at?
Brett has been gone more with school lately, works on the weekends, and recently has been helping some friends put a roof on their house...hence, he seems to be gone all the time. And the outside thing...it is just too cold and when it is warm he seems to be taking a nap. This makes me feel like a single parent and WAY more homesick than ever (due to family and the perfect weather they have...the grass is always greener somewhere else).
2. I have to juggle my work days around everyone's schedule because we choose to not do the babysitter thing if we can. He still goes occasionally, but that is just one more schedule to juggle. Don't get me wrong, I totally love what I do. It bothers me when I screw up because I didn't have enough info from everybody's schedules and then have to make up for it later on and can't do other things, because I am the majority of our income.
I know this doesn't make any sense to anybody...but I am confessing the things that irritate me.
3. I am SO done with school....I know Brett talks about doing a phD and if he decides to do it I will support him and think it would be great for his career, but really the stress, the lack of money, the not knowing where or what we are doing, the late nights, the last minute assignments are all really getting on my nerves. No offense Brett...I still love you!
4. Being the "maid" around the house. I feel like I can't keep up. There are always more toys and dishes and meals to make and laundry to do and diapers to change and baths to give...It never ends, and it can be completely overwhelming doing it all the time.
5. Last but not least, most of you know we have been trying to get pregnant with a second child, but have had no luck for about 7 months now. I don't want anyone to say I am sorry or anything, but it seems like everywhere I turn...somebody is pregnant or just gave birth. Congrats to everyone! No one will ever understand what it is like until they have been through it. I know this is only teaching me empathy for those with the same problem...but we are totally ready to have another and Jace is too. Jace points out babies in the store in pictures...etc. I am just asking for prayers...ultimately it is up to Heavenly Father anyway...but could you let him know we are ready whenenver he decides. I am trying to be patient, but just really hard with babies coming every direction I turn. I hope I don't regret sharing this.
6. The holidays are coming...enough said.
I don't know if the weather is effecting me or what, but hopefully this post will remind everyone that I am human! I have down days, weeks, months and I have good days, weeks, and months. I have stresses in my life that I wish I didn't have, but will learn to cope with them. I really am happy and have a wonderful, intelligent child, a loving husband, and great extended family. I just needed to get a few things off my chest....hope you enjoyed the crazy inner workings of my silly OCD mind! Heheheh

Weekend Happenings!

On Saturday, Jace helped me make a birthday cake for Brett. He loved putting the candles on and then singing happy birthday. He even helped Brett try to blow the candles out. Happy 31st to you Brett and many more! You are my sweetheart and I am so glad to have spent the last seven years with you...I love you...even if you are a classic (almost).

This is what the weather looked like on saterday...yes, that is snow/sleet. I'm not too excited for the winter, but I guess it is always nice to have a change of season.

These last two pictures were taken on thursday morning. This is Jace's friend Tate. They are like 3 months apart and play so good together. They are playing in our temporary sandbox...it is just waiting to be landscaped. It was fun for the boys to put their tractors and dumptrucks in the sand. They had a really great time and thankfully the weather was nice. Boys will be boys!

Wednesday, October 8, 2008

I said I was glad that we finally have grass, but there are a few downfalls of having grass. Because we received a good amount of rain this past weekend and also the sod has to be watered 3 or 4 times a day...the surrounding areas of our grass have this fun thing that boys love....called....MUD! My worst nightmare today came true. We haven't been super warm these days, but Jace wanted to play outside anyway...I said "okay, just for a little while and you have to stay on the side walk." Of course Jace would say "okay". Before I know it, Jace is in the mud with his cute dump truck. I said "hurry, get on the side walk" and then he falls in the mud, because it is that thick...get your feet stuck, you're not going anywhere kind of mud. So the good mom that I am, go into the mud to help him up. Well the next thing I know is that my sandals are stuck in the mud, my feet are well planted in the mud and Jace is saying "No, no, no" meaning he isn't done playing in the mud. I was seriously upset...it was not on my agenda to play in the mud today or fight a child while in the mud, especially since I was wearing khaki pants and a white shirt. These pictures will show you how innocent he looks and you will see the caked on mud on my feet and his new shoes (thanks to grandma). I really tried to not show my anger towards him, by turning it into a fun moment. Needless to say...we spent the rest of the morning INSIDE!

Saturday Session of Conference

I thought I would just post some thoughts and feelings I had as I reflect on what was said. I loved the talk on "angels" and how we can be angels in people's lives. I have had many "angels" and hope that I can be an "angel" for others. I love that we were reminded to continue to live within our means. It was a good reminder that prayer should not just be a before bedtime habit, but should be always. I have a better understanding of faith, hope, and charity and how they work hand in hand. I enjoyed the primary choir and so did Jace. He stood in front of the television, stopping what he was doing, and stared in amazement that kids were singing on the tv. I don't think he blinked once. I thought it was interesting that there are temples being completed left and right and amazed that there will be a temple in Italy.
I often feel like the first presidency and the quorum of the twelve are so distant...kind of like our presidency of the United States...but the difference is that I have no doubt that the church leadership will NOT lead us down deceitful paths. I am so glad that they are encouraging us to do more and be better people. Who doesn't love conference weekend!

New Neighborhood!

I just have to say how I love that there are so many young families with lots of little boys that are Jace's age. Two of Jace's new friends are....Tate who turns 2 in October and Jack who turns 2 in November. We have spent some time outside trying to soak up the good weather and some time inside. The kids play really well together and of course fight over toys, but it is fun. We have done alot of playdates with these two and Jace will walk around our house and say "Tate?" and "Jack?"....and I always remind him that they are at their houses. Today we went to a little community park that is close by and the boys had a blast. Unfortunately, I seem to never have my camera when it would be a great photo opp...but maybe in the future we can get a cute pic of these three.

By the way....WE HAVE GRASS, FINALLY!

My lil laundry helper...I hope it lasts forever!

Jace loves to help with the laundry. He really is a GREAT helper. I put the basket by the dryer and he will pull all the clothes out for me. He will also pull the wet clothes from the washer and place them in the dryer. He helps clean out the lint filter, but doesn't quite have that one down all by himself, just yet! He is in the phase of "pleasing". He knows it makes me happy and it puts the biggest smile on his face to do it. Besides it saves my back from having to bend over. Not that I am old or lazy, just like to let him help :)

Just a side note...for those I haven't shared with. We went to our new ward last week...3 nurseries with 20-25 kids each, 2 elders quorums, and 2 sunday schools. This week sacrament was packed. Our bishop told us we had 440 members there today out of 648.....can any one say crowded, like, so crowded we overflowed to the relief society room. I think we are expecting a split here real soon.

Thursday, August 28, 2008

Jace's recent fascination has been with tractors and buses! Today was Brett's first long day at school...like 8:30 - 6. I started thinking what should I do with Jace today.....so after thinking for a minute, I came up with the idea of going to play with Ethan and Hunter...but, we would ride the bus to their house. So, Jace and I packed up our stuff and met the bus just around the corner from our house. Then when we arrived at the transit center, we walked like 3 blocks, and arrived at our friends house, The Denisons. Ethan, Hunter and Jace played for a little while and then we made PBH (peanut butter and honey) sandwiches. It was quite the adventure for the two of us today. Jace was so tuckered out from all the excitement that he fell asleep on the ride home from the transit center. But in the words of Jace....it was "fun"! I am so thankful that our CVTD is a fare free system and that both us and the Denisons live close to bus stops!

ALL DONE MOVING!

So we are in our new place! YEAH!! No more boxes for at least another year, when our lives could change again. My Mom came up and watched Jace while we moved and then unpacked boxes. It was such a help! I think it made the change a ton easier on Jace. Thanks MOM!!! There are tons of students and little families living in this area...it should be really fun! Air conditioning is wonderful, there are lots of tractors for Jace to watch, and we have the biggest sandbox right now...our front and backyard (the sod isn't laid yet)....what more is there to say now that we have internet...everything is perfect about our new place! Other changes that have been happening....Brett started school and this will be a busy year for him! Thank goodness he has a wonderful wife right beside him! (heheh...just a little plug on me). I changed my working day from Thursdays to Mondays to help accommodate with babysitting. I have also been considering picking up one more day every other week. That is the greatest thing about being a dental hygienist...I can pretty much choose when I work and how much. The weather is starting to feel like fall...totally NOT ready for that yet! The summer just began...okay like 3 months ago. I hope that updates everyone...and I will soon post pics of the new house!

News on Moving---Finally!

After many attempts to get in touch with our soon to be new landlords, the verdict it that the date of move in is still undetermined. Because the places are brand new (only 10 are complete and many still in stick phase) the hold up seems to be the City of Logan. Our landlords had the city come and supposedly do the inspection for occupancy, and of course the city came up with something else that the Springs needs to do before given the okay. So, the construction company is hustling and busily trying to put in a secondary pump station for the water/sewer. The estimated time frame the property manager gave us, was sometime this weekend at the earliest, but more likely Monday or Tuesday of next week. The wait continues and we will continue to pack boxes!

Vacation to Henderson and Cedar City!

This is one of my favorite pictures! I just love these two!

Our little jailbird! We went to the Clark County History Museum...I had never been there before.

The kids (Daniel, Tony, Triny, and Jace) were all yelling Choo Choo!

The kids sitting on the bench inside the train

An updated picture of all the Jenson grandkids. Jace, Daniel, and recently born, Aubree!

So, now that you have seen some of the pictures, I will recap what we did. We spent some time with the Grandparents on both sides. Lots of activities were enjoyed and of course wonderful food was enjoyed. It was sure great to see everyone and we are so thankful that everyone makes such a good effort to come and see us or even just make time for us in their busy schedules.

DaDa!

Last night Brett was working from 3-11:30 and Jace and I were taking him dinner after we ran a few errands. So, we get in the car and when we pull into Shopko, Jace says "Dada? Dada?" I said "no, not yet". We went in and did our thing and then went to Lowes and yes, you guessed it...I hear from the back seat "Dada? Dada?" I said, "not this stop, but the next one". So we went in and bought a few organizing totes and then got back in the car. When we pulled up to the hospital (this is where Brett works) Jace got so excited---Dada Dada! So when Brett comes down he gives Jace a hug and Jace kept saying "out, out, get down!" Brett said "Sorry bud, I have to go back into work" Jace started crying and saying "no, no, no". I tell you this because it was the sweetest thing in the whole world to watch my son just long for his Dad. It definitely melted our hearts. I feel in my heart, time and time again, that there is such a need for both parents. I could never fill the role that Brett plays in Jaces' life and vice versa. I am so thankful for Brett and the sweet husband and loving father that he is. I couldn't have asked for a better soul mate!

Pioneer Day!

The swimming pool was actually a few days prior to pioneer day, but we have just been playing, playing, playing.

We had fun at the pioneer day parade in Logan Utah! Jace was finally getting the hang of picking up the candy. In fact, eventually he would pick it up and then throw it again like he was part of the parade. We went later on and watched the fireworks...very exciting for Jace or "cooul" as Jace says it!

I am so thankful for those pioneers that trekked there way to the state of Utah! I just don't know if I would have had their strength.

We're Moving!

So, for those of you that don't know, we heard back on the Springs (housing based off of your income). We were accepted and now just have to wait until they are built. They gave us an estimated move in date of mid august. We are so excited. They are beautiful 3 bed/2 bath/2 car garage duplexes with fenced backyards. A few things we are excited about are:
~efficient AC and heater
~being able to park 2 cars in the garage and not just one
~garage opener and garage that is connected to the house
~tons of young families (kind of like student housing)
~brand new house...not having that feeling of someone else's germs and stuff
~a new ward with new people and new callings

A few things we are sad about:
~leaving our ward and friends that we have had for the past 3 years
~the canal in our backyard and it's tranquil sounds

We just gave our 30 day notice yesterday, and it felt so good. I am sure some of you understand that a little more than others. We have enjoyed our experience in this house, but we are ready for a change. I'll keep you posted on the upcoming move!

Summer Fun!

I just thought I would post an update of our summer happenings. We have been going for lots of bike rides, many trips to the park, lots of popsicles, holiday fun with the fireworks and parades, picnics, and anything to keep us busy. We are just trying to stay cool...since we don't have AC. We appreciate it when it is in the 88-92 range...anything above that we just feel like we are roasting. We still haven't heard back on the housing...yes...I wonder myself it it will ever come through. I also am still waiting on my Nevada license, but should have it by the end of the week! I am making a trip to see my family this coming week...Jace and I are so excited for the water parks that Henderson has. And, we are excited to see the family. SHHHH....we are hoping baby Huffington comes while we are there...I am sure Judee won't mind. I just can't be more thankful for the fun and exciting time we are having right now. I am always thinking that I need to cherish these moments, because if I don't...they just pass by. Life couldn't be any better.

BEAR LAKE!!!!

We went to Bear Lake this past weekend for a Nelson (my mom's side of the family) Family Reunion. They have been having reunions for 29 years now! Well, originally it was just going to be Brett, myself, and Jace representing the Jensons...due to travel, time, and distance for the rest of them. But sure enough Grandma Jenson called Wednesday night and said "Surprise, I am coming tomorrow!" We were so excited to have her come. It can be so hard being far away from family. But she came and we enjoyed the sun, sand, water, playgrounds, bike trail (which we did with our new bikes that we love...I will post pictures later), games, food, family, crafts...the list goes on. I have now realized that vacations with little kids are not much of a vacation for the parents...I was thoroughly exhausted by the time we came home. I wouldn't have traded the memories for nothing...even with all the exhaustion. Here is some of the fun we had!
You wouldn't believe how sandy his overalls were...and not just his overalls! He got it in his diaper too! He really enjoyed playing in the sand and luckily didn't get sunburned!

Playing in the sand with a bucket, shovel, and OF COURSE a truck!

This is Jace in his early graffiti stage...it's those foam sticky animals. He enjoyed putting them on the staircase. Grandma Jenson showed him how...SO...I guess if he turns out to be a hoodlum we can thank Grandma...just teasing!

Happy 26th Birthday to Me!

I had a birthday today...and the older you get the more it just seems like another day. Especially being far away from family. But for the most part it has been a great birthday. Brett, Jace, and I went riding on our new bikes - yep - that is what I got for my birthday. Then while Brett went to class, Jace and I did some shopping...not always the funnest with an 18 month old...but I wanted to get a few things. Then we came back to the house and enjoyed the outside...since we are finally having great weather. For dinner we had my aunt and uncle over and we all enjoyed knock off Cafe Rio sweet pork salads....can someone say YUMMY! Of course we did the cake and ice cream thing. So...like I said...just another day with just a tad bit of excitement.

I also wanted to say thank you to my parents for bringing me into this world. When I talked to my Mom this morning she reminded me that she went through 3 shifts of nurses and 14 hours of hard labor...Thanks Mom for sticking with it for that long...you did great! Being a mother now...there is nothing that can compare to the miracle of birth and the joy of being a parent. I can never say enough about my cute son who is amazing...and no, I am not partial to saying that. Anyway...HaPpY BiRtHdAy to me!

Feeding the Ducks!

This is our current backyard with the canal that runs behind it. The three of us will go out and feed the ducks bread whenever we get a chance. Unfortunately, Jace doesn't understand why the ducks run when he gets closer to them. And now, most of the time, Old Macdonald only has ducks on his farm...or so it is sung by Jace!

Some Favorites

Right now some of my favorite things are:

Jace and the way he says the number "two"
Parks, slides, the warm weather
Jace's new sign for "park" and the cutest smile
Feeding the ducks that come in our backyard from the canal
Fresh cut grass
Trying out new recipes
Flip Flops
Garage sales and all the fun inexpensive toys
Fresh strawberries and Breyer's vanilla ice cream
Lost (too bad the season is over)
BBQs - Steak yum!
Crocheting, knitting, and sewing
Seeing new babies and pregnant women...they are so special
Brett and the special moments with Jace...he is a great father and example!
I have many favorites...but most of them include my family, which I love so much!

You might be a REDNECK if...

Just turn your head about 45 degrees to watch this video....so redneck eh? Jace is having fun though!

Look at this smile....that means FUN!

He didn't want to quit. He kept saying "teas" meaning please more.

Jace and his Best friend...you guessed it...PUDGE!

Pudge is a great dog for Jace. He lets Jace ride him, crawl all over him, and yes, even pull his ears. I am so glad that he is such a good dog. In fact, Pudge probably just loves having Jace around (not too much excitement with two adults around...if you get the picture)

Jace goes in for a ride!

Rides him just like a horse....

and then gives him a hug, just before being done! Aren't they cute playmates!

Our visit to Kolob

It was so beautiful! Who can't appreciate Nature!

Nevada License

I thought I would just post an update on where I am at with my Nevada DH license. I have finally completed everything that Nevada needs for my NV Dental Hygiene License. I did pass my test this past Monday...thanks to everyone for their support and advice. Now it is just a waiting game, but hopefully by the beginning of July I should have my license. Thanks again for everyones support. And by the way...Don't forget to brush and floss!

Just too cute!

I just wanted to post this picture because Jace is such a wonderful blessing in our lives. He keeps us on our toes and always (most of the time anyway) laughing. Isn't he just adorable?

Flower garden or Sandbox...same thing right?

Just trying to figure it out.

This guy has such an inquisitive mind...just like his daddy!

Just a cute little video of Jace and the dirt. I have good laundry detergent, I have to, because boys will be boys!

Other fun things that Jace did while in Henderson

Singing time with Auntie Jennifer and GG (Great Grandma Nelson). I have the cutest video of my son singing along with the ABC song...but I will hopefully post it later.

Play time with more of Grandma Jenson's toys. She has so many toys and things for the kids to do that,....I don't even really have to even worry about Jace breaking something there.

Play time with cousin Daniel...they are starting to play better and better each time they see each other.

Bath time (excuse the nude picture)...our rental in Logan, just has the nastiest shower/tub. We usually just shower Jace with us because I can't stand the thought of bathing him in ours. Luckily, Grandma Jenson keeps her tub spectacularly clean.

It is so fun for us to go to Henderson because for one...we love their weather way more than ours. They had sunny days and lots of things for us to do.
