Oh yah!!! It is Summer!

What have we been up to you might ask...a lot of summer, enjoying the weather, fun!!!!
PICNICS and FEEDING THE DUCKS
Except Mckelle ate more bread than the ducks...just kidding!

RUNNING TRHOUGH THE SPRINKLERS!

GOING SHOOTING!
I LOVE that Brett takes the time to teach Jace all about shooting...including SAFETY!
Practicing with his fake...he had a blast!
This is the awesome view we had of Stansbury.  I love that the train is going right through it.
And what did she do...found all the pretty flowers...just like her Grandma Eggett...she loves them!

CANOEING AT GRANTSVILLE RESERVOIR!
These pics were taken after we were all done.  Amazingly enough, both kids sat very still and didn't tip the boat...I was so thankful.  We really had a great time...I have the best husband ever!

FAMILY REUNION!
Jace, Mckelle, and second cousin Katie
Playing on the playground with cousins and riding his scooter...he couldn't be happier, except when we go swimming after playing!
Nice farmers tan lady!
He definitely has this all figured out...so watch out!
This is her NINJA move against the splash pad!

And that about sums up the last week, except the biting gnats that are seriously making me CRAZY!  Bring on more SUMMER!

We have a Contract!!!

So, I feel like Heavenly Father answered a few of my prayers this weekend, after waiting what seemed like an eternity.  Brett was told on Thursday to just plan on another intern position for next year, but still nothing set in stone.  He was okay with that, but really we wanted a long term permanent position.  After talking with Brett, his supervisor went to the lady above herself and said where can we pull hours so that we can create a position for Brett.  She made it very clear that she didn't want to lose Brett as an employee of Granite School District (way to go honey for making such an impression).  She then called Brett the next day to let him know the good news and tell him that she already put the paperwork through for a full time permanent position...she just assumed he would accept, and YES, we totally would!  Congrats to Brett for all your hard work this past year!  He seriously has talent in what he does!  Next up...getting his degree posted...we are hoping by December of this year!
