My parents are HOME and we enjoyed a family reunion!

They made it home and we enjoyed a 5 day reunion at Pinewood resorts by Duck Creek Village up Cedar Mountain.
This was our funny face picture...but I think it just turned out goofy!  I guess that is us in a nutshell.  Notice the date was on the 13th...my parents anniversary...35 years this year!  I am so proud of them for serving a mission!  They truly are pioneers in this day by giving all they had to the Lord.

We enjoyed some fun activities that included hiking, marshmallow shooter wars, crafts, games, a pinata and so much more.  We really had a great time.  Here's the pics in no particular order...
Enjoying auntie Jerbear time!

Jenn and Joy ready to go!  Watch out...they actually did leave welts!
I love that in the above pic, Mckelle is trying to shoot hers and then in the below pic she got hit.  It was just fun for ALL ages!

Crafts
We all brought a service project to be done that we would take back to our communities.  Just for my memories...we made snack bags for the food bank, sock monkeys for the NICU, rice bags for home and hospice patients, wrote letters to missionaries, and colored bags that would be filled with dog food for a dog shelter.  The above picture is a quilt that Joy made for my parents and we had the grand kids hand prints put on while at the reunion.

My sistas...Judee, Jamee, Jennifer, Joy, and Jereelyn
So glad that my parents are home and that we were able to soak them up for a few days!

Mckelle is 2!

August 10, 2009 was a great day!
Our sweet Mckelle who is independent, cute, and all things girl came to our family.  The first 6 months were so hard and I could totally understand a parent leaving their child at a safe location to give up. (Don't judge until you have walked in my shoes).  Her colic was...let's just say...MEMORABLE!  I am so glad that Brett was out of school that semester and that we endured all that CRYING!  She is now so lovable, sweet, compassionate, funny, and playful!  We just love her.  Lucky her, she got to have 2 sets of grandparents at her party(a first since my parents have been on their mission and Brett's parents live in Cedar), 2 parties, 2 birthday cakes, 2 candles, and lots of FUN!
This is one of her favorite dress ups...my shoes and my purse!
Blowing out the candles...she did a great job!
Enjoying her cake!
The Horsey she got from us...she LOVES it!
Pudge does not miss out on the fun...he is SO PART of the family!
Opening some gifts!
Her CHEESE face!
Waiting to blow out more candles and have more cake and ice cream!
Chowing down with her BOYS!
I love this pic because she looks so full of cake and ice cream and she is just chilling with Grandma and Grandpa Eggett.  (Doesn't Grandpa look GREAT...cancer free...so THANKFUL that you are still here with us)!!!!
Thanks to everyone for making her birthday so SPECIAL!
We LOVE you...Little Mac!
