Where to start?

Blogging has become less frequent than I like, but mainly because I haven't had a camera that takes decent pictures, but also because we have been super busy just doing stuff.  When I get a little sunshine, everything is put on the wayside...because not only do my kids love to be outside, but so do I.  So, in no particular order...here is what we have been up to.

Jace learned to ride his bike without training wheels and wants to spend every waking moment outside practicing.  This was about a week ago and he is no longer content with just riding on the sidewalk.  He has started to ride through the grass and rocks, and when I let him off the curb to do a jump.  He has also been practice peddling while standing up.  He really does have some skills.

Mckelle loves getting dressed up for church.  And yes, her baby seems to be by her side when we are at home.
I loved this pic because she looks like an angel with her hands all crossed and everything.  She somehow gets herself all tucked in at night after playing for awhile.

The CHOCOLATE cake
She wanted to make sure she was ready when Dad was giving her a bite.
So GOOD...
But not feeling so good after eating so much!

Park Time!

Stake 5K
The kids did pretty good.  Jace ran about the first mile and then ran at the end and Mckelle got out and walked for about 5-10 mins.  It took us an hour to do it, but honestly it was so fun to do it with the kids.

EASTER FESTIVITIES
Sugar cookie making and Easter egg hunt with the cousins.  We were glad to be able to spend a couple of days with my sister, Judee, and her kids.  It was crazy and we were all super tired, but so worth the memories made!

FHE with our friends - dinner, Easter egg hunt, and an impromptu lesson.
The rainy weather didn't allow us to do it at the park like originally planned, so THANKS to Shay for hosting it at her house last minute.  We still had a great time!

I think that about sums it all up for the past couple of weeks.  Now, that I have my new camera (Brett was kind enough to let me have my birthday gift a couple of months early) I will hopefully be posting more often.  This week is spring break for Brett and I am so glad to have him home...now if we could just have a little bit of sunshine!
