A birthday MONTH - Jace is 4

So the month began with an early birthday present from Mom and Dad to the...
MONSTER TRUCK SHOW!
We decided to give him a fun memory with Mom and Dad instead of giving him MORE toys which he does play with, but will eventually be forgotton.
He was a little unsure at first due to the loud noises.
but it didn't take long for him to really get excited.
I was so glad that we took earplugs.
Then we let him choose where he wanted to go for dinner and he chose Chili's.  It was so fun to be on a one on one date with our little guy...doing the things he loves.

Jace was a little surprised when they brought him this big ice cream shake and then started to sing to him.  He got a little shy, but wasn't very shy about eating the whole milkshake.

A week later we went to Cedar to see Grandma and Grandpa Eggett and they let him open his gifts.  And then a week later Grandma and Grandpa Jenson let him open his gifts from them.  Seriously it has felt like a birthday MONTH.
On his actual birthday, we celebrated at Chuck E Cheeses...where a kid can be a kid...right?  That is exactly what happened.  The full 3 and a half hours we spent there were fun filled and so fun for all who could make it.

Jace and Daniel in the MONSTER TRUCK...I love their faces.
Aubree and Mckelle
After playing for a while we went back to our table and had pizza and cake and ice cream and opened gifts.  This little guy is sure loved because he made out like a bandit.  Thank you everyone for spoiling him and showing him how much he is loved.
He was just KINDA excited about the legos.
Jace came running to me saying MOM, chuckie is out there come get a pic!  It was seriously a highlight of his night.
I know this post is already extremely long, but just a few little things I want to remember.
He is super smart, loves his sister (most of the time), he is a big tease, and loves everything boy like.  We love having him in our family.  He is very responsible.  I am so fortunate to not have to worry about him getting in to trouble or doing things he isn't supposed to when alone...like when I shower or when he goes and gets a drink during sacrament all by himself.  He has always been mature in that aspect and it is something we just love about him.  Don't get me wrong, he still gets into trouble, but I just trust him already to do the right thing.  We love you Jace and hope your birthday was "Out of this galaxy"! (from the stars war birthday card that sings the theme song...yes, I am about ready to get rid of it)
HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY!
Jace says next year he wants to do a friend birthday party.  I guess I have put it off for long enough.  So to come...a friend birthday party...wish me luck!
