37.5 weeks

Went to the doctor yesterday. I was measuring at 34 weeks which makes me about 3 and a half weeks smaller and I haven't put any weight on in the last two visits. Needless to say, my doctor was a little concerned, but after doing an ultrasound...our sweet little girl is just fine. (She has the cutest face too...I can't wait to meet her). I am now at a 2cm dilation and 75% effaced. The plan is still the same...so wish me luck with stripping my membranes on monday the 3rd...I am a little nervous and REALLY hope it works. Hopefully the next post will be welcoming our sweet girl into this world and we do hope to have a name at that point :)

Not alot of change!

Had my weekly check today....and I am effaced more (for those of you who are not familiar with that....the cervix is softening...a very important part...hehe). She did say that the baby is in about a -2 station...so she still has quite a bit of dropping to do. In my mind, I don't think she can go any lower, but I guess anything is possible with pregnancy. I am feeling good overall...just really tired and slow at everything. Grocery shopping took me 3 hours the other day....seriously, I am so slow. Mind you I did have Jace with me...not that that is my excuse, but he has a lot of energy and I had been putting it off for about 4 days...making the list a bit longer. My next check is in exactly a week...Yeehaw!

Just a quick update - 36 week check!

Saw the doctor yesterday and everything still looks great! I am still measuring about 2 weeks smaller, but he is not concerned, because we want me to have a smaller baby. As for now the tentative plan is to strip my membranes in 2 weeks and if that doesn't send me into labor then we will for sure induce me on the 10th of August...I think that puts the count down to like 25 days...oh how it can't come soon enough :) He did check me and I am dialated to a 1 and 50% effaced. I will update you again after my next week check! As for names...still having troubles....please send us all your ideas as we could desperately use them :)

Summer Vacation

We spent a couple of days with my Grandma Nelson (GG as Jace says it). My parents and Brett spent a whole day cleaning up the yard, while I played my grandma at least 4 games of scrabble. It was very enjoyable and I was glad to be able to spend the time, because her time is short.
We then headed down to Cedar City for a family reunion with Brett's side of the family. Everyone was there, and we did get a family picture (which will have to come later - someone is emailing me a copy). It was so fun and the weather was wonderful. There were 11 grandchildren, 11 adults, one cat, and one dog all in one house! Occasionally grandma and grandpa Dunford stopped in...making a grand total of 24 bodies. It was a little chaotic at times, but SO memorable.




I am glad that Jace had fun with his cousins, but I still think Pudge is his favorite! Thanks to Mom and Dad Eggett for hosting the whole thing...we sure love you guys.
