Happy 1st Birthday!

I know, I know...this has taken me a little while to get to. Things are just so busy. Today we went to get Jace's 12 month shots (an evil necessity). And now that he is down for a nap...I can finally update the blog on his birthday. It was so fun, but came way too fast. Our little tyke is just so grown up. Anyway, about his party...We had some friends and family over for a little birthday party. These are all the little kids that came...as you can tell, Jace is the youngest of all.

We also made a cake and sang happy birthday. If you know my son and music...he definitely loved the singing.

Here is a pic of the Eggett family...Jace seems a little confused about what is going on.

Then we let him go at his own cake. At first he just kind of patted it. After he realized what it was and that it was okay to eat it, he dug right in, handful after handful.





Once we cleaned up the mess, (yes, that included stripping him of all clothes except his socks) he opened gifts with the help of the many other children.

He has grown so much...but still has the cutest smile ever. We are so grateful to have him in our life. What a cutie! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACE! We love you!
