He is just wondering what could be in this big box!
and aren't we all....well here it is, a big yellow Tonka dump truck!
He just couldn't wait to get in it after checking it out!
We had a wonderful Christmas. We truly are so blessed to be where we are right now and have all these wonderful opportunities in front of us. I was thankful for the season and the reminder the gift giving is, due to the symbolism it has of the greatest gift given to us. I am grateful for Christ and all he did for us. I hope that all of you enjoyed your Christmas. HO HO HO!

He loves hats...
So....My son has always loved hats...I recently bought him this winter one...due to the fact that everyday, it seems to get colder and colder. He loved it and he loved that I kept taking pictures of him. He has always been a hat guy...just like his daddy (Notice my 2 gangster thugs below)
And yes, Jace has always been a chunkster....gotta love those rolls.

Fun at the Park!
We took Jace to the park the other day and he is at the age where he is able to have a little bit of fun. His favorite part is the swings, but he is really getting the hang of slides. Taking him to the park just reminds me of all the fun I used to have when I was smaller. He wasn't sure the first time....but that was the end of that....he wanted to go and go and go.

Happy Halloween!
This has been one of Brett's and my funnest halloweens in a long time. We took Jace to a trunk or treat and then went and did the real experience of going house to house. After that we enjoyed some time with my cousin, his wife, and their cute girls.
So we gave Jace his first piece of candy...a sucker...and he LOVED it. Of course it was from his trick or treating bag...which he is now a pro on pulling the candy out of it.

Fall Time!
Isn't this weather just enjoyable! We took Jace and played in some leaves. At first he was definitely unsure...but after awhile he was having so much fun. He wanted so bad to taste those leaves. He has a pumpkin that is just his size. This is such a fun time. Jace is experiencing several firsts and we are just loving it as parents.
